And now for the latest breaking news...
This morning...and I mean EARLY, like 4:30 a.m. Dante woke up, squirming and squirming and squirming. We ignored him for about a half hour before finally accepting that our sleep time was over. Our frustration turned into such joy when Dante reached up to James' face and said, "Da Da"!
Of course James tried to get him to repeat it later and he wouldn't, but as soon as James leaves the room, every time Dante says "Da Da" and sometimes "Daddy". This is mixed in with all his other babbling, so perhaps we are overly optimistic. But it just melts your heart, either way!
Worth waking up at 4:30 to hear words of endearment! Soon it'll be "mama," too!
