Mommy


I wonder if this is what I looked like to Dante for the first week or two…
 His eyes can now see clearly about 8 feet away.  I love that James and I got to be  the first discoveries in his tiny but expanding universe.

    Isn't it amazing how babies can focus the distance from their mother's breast to their mother's face when they are born?! I think that makes feeding time even more precious. And, with bottles, dads get to experience that intimacy too.
    Wonder what it is like for Dante as his focus and vision increase day by day and new vistas open up to him...
